Flights, trains, coaches, and local tips for reaching the event

By air

Best option: Norwich Airport (via Amsterdam)

Fly to Norwich with a connection at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This is the simplest route and avoids travel from London.

Direct flights from Malta

There are direct flights between Malta and Norwich.

Second option: London Stansted Airport

London Stansted Airport has many low-cost direct flights from European airports.

From Stansted to Norwich

Other London airports

London Luton Airport — useful if you have a good Wizz Air connection. Travel by train (via London, 2.5–3 hours) or coach (3.5–4.5 hours).

London City Airport — closer to central London. Travel by Underground or taxi to Liverpool Street station, then train to Norwich.

London Heathrow and London Gatwick — on the opposite side of London. Only use these if you plan to visit London.

London Southend Airport — generally not useful for Norwich.

From mainland Europe (no flight)

Train (Eurostar)

Take Eurostar to London (St Pancras). Then go to Liverpool Street station by Underground and take a train to Norwich.

Ferry (Netherlands)

Take the ferry from Hook of Holland to Harwich, then continue by train (National Rail).

Travel within the UK

If you are already in the UK, travel by train.

Check routes at National Rail. Direct trains run from London (Liverpool Street) to Norwich.

Car hire

Car hire is available at airports and in Norwich, e.g. Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Travel outside our Meet & Greet times

Where possible, we will meet you at Norwich Airport, Norwich Railway Station or Norwich Bus Station. If you are arriving on days prior to the event, check Google Maps for up-to-date bus information and directions to your hotel. The Maids Head Hotel is walkable from the railway and bus stations. There are regular buses from the airport to Norwich city centre. The closest bus stops when arriving from the airport are Upper King Street (Stop CP) or Prince of Wales Road (Stop DA).

Taxis are available from the airport and elsewhere — search Veezu or Uber in the App Store or Google Play, or call Veezu on +44 1603 666333. Card payments are accepted on buses and in taxis.

100 Years of Round Table - Europe One Norwich

Round Table was founded in Norwich in 1927 by Louis Marchesi, who wanted to create a club for young businessmen to network, socialize, and give back to their communities. What started as a local initiative has grown into an international organization, and now we return to where it all began to celebrate a century of friendship, fellowship, and service.
